Our workshops and classes offer concrete ways to build your knowledge and skills as a child care provider. Most of our workshops and classes are open to all. Please note that some programs are open only to licensed child care providers. Financial assistance may be available for fee-based classes.

Early Learning SF Website Trainings

Early Learning SF is San Francisco’s early care and education eligibility list and connects Early Learning Scholarship (ELS) programs to families looking for care. The list connects families seeking quality care and education to programs, allowing programs to report and fill ELS and Title 5 vacancies.

CA Workforce Registry Trainings

The CA Early Care & Education Registry is an online system to promote the education, trainings, and experience of early education professionals. Mocha Trainings

Mocha is a new enrollment and payment system for Early Learning Scholarship (ELS) providers with Preschool for All and Gap on Title5 funding. Programs and staff who are currently using Cocoa are invited to register.

CACFP/Food Program:  New Provider Orientations

Licensed child care providers who are interested in receiving monthly partial reimbursements for serving healthy meals by joining the CACFP/Food Program may email our health and nutrition team to learn more and schedule a New Food Program Provider Orientation via Zoom.

Healthy Apple Workshops

The Fundamentals of Running a FCC Business

Children’s Council is hosting a series of workshops and courses designed to help new Family Child Care owners launch their business and existing FCC owners strengthen their business.

Health & Safety

This 2 day (8-hour) virtual course meets the Preventive Health and Safety requirement for Community Care Licensing. Course fee is $80 and registration is required.

Pediatric CPR & First Aid

Receive your certification from the Emergency Medical Services Authority. Course fee is $100, registration is required.
