New & Expecting Moms Group

This group supports new and expecting mommies through group discussion, interaction and activities. We’ll build new relationships and support communication between you and your child. The facilitator is a new mom herself, with a background in social psychology and adult and child education.

Choosing a Preschool
Choosing a Preschool is held on the 4th Wednesday of every month at 6pm. In this workshop we address program philosophies (Montessori, Waldorf, etc.), quality indicators and tips on navigating the application process. This is a free workshop. Light dinner is provided. Choosing Infant Care
One of our most popular and important workshops, Choosing Infant Care is held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 10am. Let us help you evaluate family child care homes and infant/toddler centers. We also explore licensing regulations, legal rights of parents and indicators of quality. This is a free workshop. Light breakfast is provided. Advance registration preferred.

Pediatric CPR & First Aid
Receive your certification from the Emergency Medical Services Authority. Course fee is $120, registration is required.
