Each year, over 20,000 families turn to Children’s Council for support in finding child care that meets their needs. 

Every day we help parents like Maria, who had dreams of becoming a lawyer, but became homeless while she was expecting her first child. 

Now Maria’s dreams are coming true: her family has stable housing, she is a licensed realtor and is only a few semesters away from taking the bar exam. And her son is thriving in school.

She says, “Without Children’s Council, I would not be able to work and go to school. The support I’ve been given has been amazing.”

We also bring together over 5,500 parents and caregivers for a huge range of child development workshops, ranging from our New & Expecting Moms meet-up group to our popular Parent Cafe.
