Khuong has been with Children’s Council for nine years and serves as a Program Manager. Prior to coming on board, he was a case worker and manager for Wu Yee.

Khuong’s passion for helping others was sparked by his own experiences as an immigrant from Vietnam. Relocating with his mother and sister to the states, he recalled, was a difficult transition made more challenging by social workers that could not sufficiently navigate a language barrier. These negative interactions were contrasted with one very positive, very helpful caseworker that inspired Khuong to pursue a career in empowering others through social work. He hopes to make an impact in the families he now serves, and is invested in helping each child succeed with the resources they can access.
