Emma grew up in the Bay Area and is passionate about ensuring that children and families can thrive. At Children’s Council, she works closely with program, finance and evaluation teams to manage Government and Foundation grants and contracts.

Before joining Children’s Council, Emma was the Institutional Giving Specialist at Bay Area Discovery Museum, managing Foundation, Government and Corporate grants. She also has a background in education and worked as an elementary teacher in the Albany Unified School District for five years. Emma holds a BA in French and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from UC Davis. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, baking and crafting.
