Resource & Referral (R&R) Team:
The R&R team supports San Francisco families with applying for available child care subsidies, searching for providers and understanding their child care options. This team is often the first stop for families on their child care journey.

Please contact your assigned Family Specialist directly, or call our Main Office Phone line above to be routed to your assigned Family Specialist.
Family Specialist Team (FSS):
The family specialists support families after they have found a child care provider through a warm handoff from the Resource & Referral team. They schedule an appointment to review eligibility for the subsidy and become the main point of contact moving forward.
Common Topics We Help Families with:

- Updating child care schedules, hours and subsidy questions
- Updating your address, phone number, email or other family information
- CareConnect log in support for parents
Family & Caregiver Workshops

Children’s Council’s Family & Caregiver Engagement team offers trusting, inclusive learning spaces and child development coaching to help families build skills and knowledge so children can learn and be kindergarten ready.

Provider Support Teams
Children’s Council has multiple teams that support child care providers at different stages of their work with our programs. The provider support team can provide assistance with onboarding, enrollment, attendance sheets, payment process and technical support.

Black & BIPOC ECE Program

The Black & BIPOC ECE teams aim to support and improve quality care and education by increasing the numbers of Black and Pacific Islander early educators in San Francisco. They provide trainings and career development opportunities.
