Elise has worked in the education field for just over ten years. She was born and raised in San Francisco and has experience in both the public and private sectors of education. She is passionate about DEI and social emotional learning in the classroom. Prior to COVID-19, Elise worked for the Board of Education in Miyazaki, Japan to promote globalization and to help bridge the gap between cultures. Elise is looking forward to being an advocate for programs, resources, and events offered by The Children’s Council.
