Carina Hinton

Carina Hinton is an Account Manager at Keadjian Associates, advising Fortune 500 companies on stakeholder engagement and communications campaigns. Prior to this, Carina worked as a Senior Associate at FGS Global, where she advised clients in the private equity, venture capital and technology industries on financial transactions. Carina was born in Davis, California, and attended UC Berkeley, where she graduated in 2020 Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude with Honors and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. During her time at Cal, Carina served as a college application mentor and camp counselor to underserved Vietnamese high school students through the Vietnamese Student Association’s VISION program. 

Carina also currently serves as a member of the Friends of the Children SF-Bay Area Young Professionals Board. She previously served as a Board Member of the American Civil Liberties Union Northern California Yolo County Chapter, where she was the youngest member elected to the board. In her spare time, Carina volunteers as a teacher at Pacific Links Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in Vietnam dedicated to preventing child trafficking through youth education and empowerment. Through this organization, she teaches online classes to underserved elementary school students in Vietnam’s Central and Mekong Delta provinces. 

Carina is extremely excited to help make a tangible difference in communities through Children’s Council’s key value of education as empowerment. She looks forward to contributing to the organization’s mission of ensuring that as many families as possible have access to key childcare services that support their collective well-being.
