Would you like to share this passion by teaching basic technology skills?
Are you able to donate a few hours a month (short or longer term) to teach or design workshops on digital literacy basics?
The Business & Technology Supports Department at Children’s Council is seeking volunteers to assist with delivering workshops to family child care educators.
This is an ideal opportunity for retired business professionals, college students and technology workers who believe in the power of early education, and that all families deserve access to quality child care!
We are seeking:
- Individuals experienced with using a drag-and-drop website builder platform to assist with designing curriculum and/or…
- Delivering a short series of workshops to a small group of intermediate-level computer users interested in creating websites for their family child care businesses.
- Bilingual instructors to teach existing curriculum in basic-level technology skills, such as internet, email and excel. Chinese speakers (Mandarin or Cantonese) highly desired.
- Someone with weekend and evening availability
