Maiysha Dickerson, Associate Director for Black ECE

Maiysha Dickerson is Associate Director for Black ECE at Children’s Council, with over 15 years nonprofit experience working closely with community-based groups, early educators, teachers and families. Maiysha is committed to building relationships that are meaningful, supportive and positive. Currently as the lead coordinator for City Kids Family Fair and Children’s Council’s Associate Board, she is often amazed by the incredible volunteers, local organizations and Bay Area employers interested in ensuring quality early care and education is accessible to all San Francisco children.

A SF native, Maiysha is passionate about self-care and celebrating community and culture.  She finds peace and joy in yoga, live music and exploring beaches and parks.
