Keynote – Mayor London Breed

Mayor London Breed is the first Black woman to be elected Mayor of San Francisco. Born in San Francisco, Breed was raised in the City’s Western Addition neighborhood and went on to represent her district on the Board of Supervisors. She has brought forward several critical initiatives that are moving the needle for our City’s working families and children, including the Dream Keeper Initiative and the Women & Families First Initiative, ensuring that they have the early care and education support they need.

Mayor Breed has been instrumental in San Francisco’s support for early care and education during the pandemic, and we are excited to have her speak about why investing in child care is a powerful, multi-generational anti-poverty solution.
