Important Information Regarding Stay-at-Home Order

UPDATE: As of Wednesday, December 9, Bay Area playgrounds can remain open under California’s new stay-at-home orders. Click here for more information.

While the state of California has recently announced the details of their latest Stay-at-Home order, the San Francisco Department of Pubic Health (DPH) has confirmed that child care is not impacted by the order, and that programs can remain open.

As a part of the public health order, all indoor businesses must now post a placard at public entrances showing which ventilation precautions they have taken – this includes child care businesses and out-of-school-time programs.

Providers and business owners can download the ventilation placard checklist in multiple languages here.

For providers that do not have access to a printer, Children’s Council will have copies of the placard checklist available at our supply distributions. For more information, check our Online Help Center.
