Emma Sheldon

Emma first became interested in early childhood development as an undergraduate at Cornell University, where she received her BS in Human Development with a focus on the social and emotional development of children.

She went on to earn an MS in Global Health and Population at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, where she wrote her master’s thesis on the sociodemographic predictors of breastfeeding among a cohort of HIV+ and HIV- mothers in Tanzania.

After graduating, Emma worked for three and a half years as a management consultant at a purpose-driven strategy firm, Schaffer&Combs. It was there that she first got to know Children’s Council and became involved in our cause. She joined Collective Health as an Account Executive in 2019, where she is driven by the company’s mission to make understanding, navigating, and paying for healthcare effortless.

In her free time, Emma enjoys CrossFit, hiking on Mt. Tam, and cooking with friends and family.
