As an early learning advocate, Anna enjoys engaging with the field as a board member for the East Bay Chapter of CAAEYC, a member of San Francisco Educators for Equity, and an appointed member of the SF African American Early Educator Policy Council. She has been a leader for the Bay Area Network for Diversity Training in Early Childhood (BANDTEC) since 2018 providing trainings and peer-to-peer support, as well as creating an educator-led podcast series titled “Lesson Up!”. Anna is the Program Manager at Early Care Educators of San Francisco (ECESF), a non-profit dedicated to bringing the voice of ECE educators to the broader community, leaders, policymakers, allies and fellow providers to affect change.
