Anna Nordberg is a freelance journalist who writes about parenting, education, culture, TV, and books. Her work has appeared in The Washington Post, The New York Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, and Slate. Prior to that she worked for over ten years as a magazine editor, including three years at Conde Nast’s Cookie, where she focused on parenting and maternal and pediatric health. In addition to serving on the Children’s Council Board, Anna is a Trustee of the Bay Area Discovery Museum and serves on the Board of Directors of the Crescent Porter Hale Foundation, which supports middle school success and K-8 scholarships in the Bay Area.
