Activity Kits & Cleaning Supplies for Our Community

We know that families and child care providers are facing unprecedented challenges during COVID-19, as they strive to keep our city’s children safe, healthy and engaged.

Parents need books, toys, learning materials and food to keep their children learning at home. Early educators who want to care for children need large quantities of cleaning products, which can be difficult, if not impossible, to purchase in retail stores.

In response to these community needs, over the past month our staff and volunteers have distributed over 200 Play Lab Activity Kits to families and over 400 bags of cleaning supplies to child care providers.

Recently our CEO Gina Fromer joined staff members in delivering Activity Kits directly to families in some of our city’s highest-need neighborhoods, as well as to YMCA-Bayview.

Play Lab Activity Kits include an assortment of books, art supplies, nutritious snacks, baby wipes, multi-lingual recipes and fun activities that promote positive adult-child engagement.

Our staff is hard at work sourcing supplies for families and providers, but we need your to continue this important work!
