PITC Infant/Toddler: Brain Development & Social Connections 20260708

This workshop is hosted by Children’s Council of San Francisco and facilitated by the Program for Infant/Toddler Care (PITC) Regional Support Network through WestEd, in partnership with the California Department of Social Services.
The first three years of life are a critical period for brain development. During this time, relationships and early experiences play an important role in shaping children’s learning, behavior and overall well-being.
In this workshop, participants will explore the three types of stress and their impact on early brain development. We will also discuss how responsive, nurturing relationships can help buffer stress and support healthy growth and development in infants and toddlers.
