Claudia Quiñonez Appointed to New Chief of Staff Role

Children’s Council is pleased to announce that Claudia Quiñonez, a valued member of our Executive Leadership Team, has been appointed as our new Chief of Staff. In this expanded role, Claudia will continue to work closely with CEO Barbara (Barb) Coccodrilli Carlson to drive organizational effectiveness, lead strategic initiatives and ensure impactful outcomes that advance our mission.

“This role requires a mission- and results-driven individual who is resourceful, action-oriented, highly collaborative and capable of working and thinking independently,” said Children’s Council CEO Barb Carlson. “Claudia was a natural choice for this new position. I’m pleased she will be our new Chief of Staff.”

Claudia is a seasoned strategist with over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit world. She is dedicated to driving organizational success through innovative, data-driven strategies, with a proven track record of accomplishment in program development, evaluation and organizational leadership.

In her various leadership roles at Children’s Council, she has led many initiatives from start to finish including the:

• Development and implementation of an organizational strategy, including measuring success against Objectives & Key Results (OKRs)
• Design and facilitation of leadership and all-staff workshops and meetings
• Incubation of new core service programs and
• Implementation of evaluation frameworks, data collection, and evaluation strategies, including  successfully establishing a new Research, Data and Evaluation department
