This series offers practical, strengths-based strategies to support children’s development, create inclusive and responsive learning environments, and strengthen the sustainability of your child care business.
Through interactive learning, reflection and hands-on tools, participants will build confidence in supporting children and families while also gaining strategies to grow and sustain their work.
Supporting Social-Emotional Development: February 19 and February 26, 6-8:30pm
This is a 2-part workshop. Please plan to attend on both February 19 and February 26.
In this interactive workshop learn how to understand and support the social-emotional development of the children in your care. A child’s social-emotional development shapes their sense of self, influences how they learn and fosters meaningful relationships. It drives communication, connection and conflict resolution, building the confidence and resilience needed to achieve goals. A strong social-emotional foundation in childhood sets the stage for lifelong happiness and the ability to navigate stress and challenges as adults.
In this two-part workshop series, early educators will explore:

- Promoting social-emotional development
- Managing behaviors adults find challenging
- Strategies for effective behavior management

Support for Children with Special Needs: March 5, 6-8:30pm
Join us for an engaging and informative workshop designed to empower child care providers and parents in supporting children with disabilities and special needs. We will cover key topics including the definition of disability, ADA requirements, assessments and diagnosis, and support resources. Learn about legal protections and compliance obligations. Participate in discussions, share your experiences and gain valuable insights on providing inclusive and effective care. This is an opportunity to enhance your knowledge and ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.

Cultivating Inclusive Learning Spaces: March 19, 6-8:30pm
At an early age, children begin to notice differences in the people around them. Although children are unable to fully process or understand the differences, they notice the differences in skin color, facial features and language.
In this reflective and interactive workshop, participants will explore culture, their own social identity and build strategies to support children and their understanding of differences around race, culture and identity.
Digital Marketing: Establishing Your Online Presence: March 26, 6-8:30pm
Take the next step in your marketing plan and learn how to get your business online so that more families can find you and your services.
In this workshop, we will explore online platforms to get your business more exposure on the world wide web while helping you determine the right starting point. We will also work on preparing your content for various platforms leaving you with the tools you need to set you up for success.
Income Boosting Strategies: April 2, 6-8:30pm
Learn how to make more money in your child care business. This workshop will teach you how to increase your prices, set up paid time off and other opportunities to elevate your income while doing the work you love.
