Providers: Regional Market Rate Survey Coming Soon
Every two years, the California Department of Education (CDE) conducts a Child Care/Early Education Market Rate Survey. This survey is critically important because the results determine the Regional Market Rate (RMR), the maximum rates that can be paid to child care providers/early education programs serving children in subsidy programs. The higher the rates, the more providers are willing to enroll children with subsidies and the more buying power families with subsidies have in the local child care/early education market.
We urge all child care providers who are contacted to participate in the survey to respond so it will accurately reflect local rates.
