Now is the time to start planning for summer!

What will your children be doing when school’s out for the summer? Some kids might want to just watch TV or take long naps, but if you want your child to have an active and productive summer break, now is the time to start planning and applying.

Many camps and programs fill up months in advance, so start planning now. Here are a few resources to help you get started.

Bring your family to the 2018 San Francisco Summer Resource Fair on Sat, Mar 10: 11am-3pm at the County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park. Hosted by Department of Children, Youth & Their Families (DCYF), the fair will feature 150 low-cost to free summer programs, games, arts and crafts, free books and more. Many programs will be taking application on site.

Choose from a list of fun and inspiring summer camps ranging from the Children’s Creativity Museum to San Francisco Zoo. The list is organized by four categories— art, sport, academic and specialty camps. Click here to see the complete list.

Please note: Children’s Council does not endorse or recommend any specific program listed on these sites.
