Lauren joined Children’s Council with a background in public health and early childhood evaluation, research, and program coordination. Prior to joining the Children’s Council team, Lauren worked at First 5 Contra Costa as a Research Analyst. She looks forward to helping families build their knowledge, confidence, and social support at the Children’s Council and is passionate about ensuring that all children have access to the opportunities that they deserve. 

Lauren received her Master in Public Health from UC Berkeley and her bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Oregon State University. She also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in coastal Ecuador from 2012-2014 and enjoys hiking, cooking, and gardening.
