DESCRIPTION:At the completion of this one day course from 9am-5pm\, you will receive your certification from the Health & Safety Institute (HSI).\n\n\nThis pediatric CPR and First Aid class will grant you certification from the Health & Safety Institute (HSI)\, which is an approved affiliate training program by the California EMS Authority (EMSA). \nThis class is a one day class on Saturday from 9am to 5:00pm. You need to be there ALL DAY to receive certification. SUMMARY:Early Educator Workshop: Preventative Health and Safety (English)  20250601
DESCRIPTION:This course meets the Preventative Health and Safety (8-hour) requirement for Community Care Licensing.\n\n\nThis Preventive Health and Safety course (8 hours) is an affiliated training program approved by the Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) to meet the Community Care Licensing requirement. Upon completion of the Preventive Health and Safety class you will earn a certificate. \nThe class will be divided into 2 parts and will be given virtually (you must attend both days): \n\nThe class will be offered Monday and Tuesday (on the specified date you choose when you register) from 5:30pm to 9:30pm\n\nPlease consider the following: \nThese classes are taught online\, 100% participation is required from everyone who is enrolled. This means that you must have your camera on\, stable WIFI (internet) and be stationary AT ALL TIMES. If you do not refrain from doing other activities\, such as driving or being on public transportation on either session you will be asked to log off and reschedule your class. \nThe Zoom link to access the training will be sent to the participants 24 hours before the class by email along with the necessary materials attached. Please use the same link for both sessions. \nIt is a requirement to attend both days to obtain your certificate\, which will be sent within 20 days after the completion of the course through USPS. Be sure to provide a valid mailing address for your card\, which requires your signature upon receipt. If participants are unable to meet these requirements\, they will need to reschedule the class\, this is allowed only one time. \nParticipants can reschedule their class or request a refund only once with 5 days in advance (there will be no additional transfers/refunds). \nReach out to incubatorteam@childrenscouncil.org on the morning of the day of your class (Monday) if you haven’t received the zoom link.

DESCRIPTION:Aprende a cuidar a los niños con información sobre cómo manejar el trauma de manera consciente en nuestro evento online.\n\n\nEducadores Infantiles: Cuidado Informado Sobre El Trauma 20250423  \n \nÚnase a nuestra capacitación gratuita de cuatro semanas\, diseñada para educadores de primera infancia\, para comprender mejor el impacto del trauma en el desarrollo infantil y aprender estrategias para apoyar el bienestar de los niños y el suyo propio. No se lo pierdan\, ¡su participación puede marcar la diferencia en la vida de un niño! \nCada sesión en línea es de 2.5 horas incluye una sesión opcional de capacitacion de 30 minutos al final. Se anima a los participantes a asistir a las cuatro sesiones y podrán obtener hasta 10 horas de desarrollo profesional. \n \n¡Los talleres ahora son virtuales! Cree rutinas para la previsibilidad\, aprenda sobre las vías cerebrales\, identifique palabras para describir las sensaciones de los niños y diseñe estrategias para brindar un entorno seguro. \n \nFatiga por Compasión vs. Agotamiento: 7 de mayo\, de 6pm – 8:30pm \nAprenda la diferencia entre la fatiga por compasión y el agotamiento y\, a su vez\, cómo brindar un mejor apoyo a los niños.
