DESCRIPTION:This course meets the Health and Safety (8-hour) requirement for Community Care Licensing.\n\n\nThis course meets the Preventive Health and Safety (8-hour) requirement for Community Care Licensing. At the successful completion of this class\, you will receive certification from the Emergency Medical Services Authority. This virtual class will be split into two 4-hour sessions over two days: \n\nThe date specified (Friday) for the event is 9 am-1 pm\nThe next day (Saturday-same class) is 9 am-1 pm\n\nFor information contact Gabriela Meneses a gabriela@bananasbunch.org \nPlease note: \nDue to concerns surrounding public health\, this training has moved to an online format. Information to access the online content will be emailed to participants with the materials that we will be using for the training. Access to this training will be until 9:05 am\, after that participants won’t be allowed to enter the training and will have to attend the next one. Participants must be in a quiet space free of distractions and must have their camera on. To receive the certificate for the class\, you need to attend the FULL training (8 hours). The certificate will be mailed to your address.

DESCRIPTION:Early Learning SF: Training for Child Care Programs\nThe San Francisco Office of Early Care and Education (OECE)\n\n\nEarly Learning SF: Training for Child Care Programs \nThe San Francisco Office of Early Care and Education (OECE) is excited to announce the launch of Early Learning SF! Early Learning SF is a new website that offers better data and better matches to connect families to quality care and education. \nAll Early Learning Scholarship (ELS) programs are required to use Early Learning SF to fill their vacancies for subsidized funding. Title 5 Center programs will also use the system. \nDuring this training\, programs will receive an overview of the system\, learn how to report a vacancy\, and follow up with families. \nWe encourage all participants to report your vacancies at this training. Please be prepared with vacancy hours\, age range\, and date vacancy is available. \nReservation required! This event is open to family child care educators and parents. Margarita Spataro\, a parent of a child with severe autism and an intellectual disability will share her experiences getting support\, navigating services and the importance of advocacy for Black and African American children with special needs and disabilities. We will share local resources and have a forum to hear from Child Care Providers and Parents.​

DESCRIPTION:Join us every Thursday online for a mommy-baby support group that welcomes all mothers!\n\n\nPLEASE NOTE:  New and Expecting Moms Group is virtual\, all moms welcome. \nTune in at 11am for a supportive relationship building session. \nThis group will support new and expecting mommies through group discussion\, peer-to-peer learning and activities. We’ll build new relationships and support communication between you and your child. The facilitator is a mom herself\, with a background in social psychology and adult and child education. This group is aimed at moms with children.
