Raising our Future Leaders Conference

ConferenceOn Saturday, May 30 the Family Child Care Quality Network held its first annual conference at the Children’s Creativity Museum. The conference, titled Raising Our Future Leaders, brought together more than 150 family child care providers and their assistants. Providers attended workshops on supporting families of children with special needs, brain development and early literacy, and fun physical activities for young children. The entire conference was presented in English, Spanish, and Cantonese.

Dr. Le Wei Sun, Professor of Child Development at DeAnza College, delivered the keynote address. She emphasized the tremendous impact that child care providers have on young children, families, and our community.
