Barb Lawler

Barb Lawler is the Chief Privacy Officer at Intuit, responsible for creative and driving data stewardship and personal information use strategy, policy and implementation. Before Intuit, she spent over 20 years in privacy, data management and marketing at Hewlett Packard. Barb has an extensive track record as a thought leader, shaping the thinking of U.S. and global policymakers on strategic data policy issues through direct interaction, formal testimony and leadership roles in a number of key third party organizations. Beyond the office, she volunteers and actively supports programs furthering the growth of young people, especially those who have overcome personal challenges.
