Listing Your Child Care Services In Our Referral Database

To be listed in our database, child care providers must complete an application and submit a copy of their current, valid child care license.

All family child care homes and centers listed with us are licensed by Community Care Licensing (CCL). It is an agency of the California Department of Social Services. CCL ensures that licensed centers and family child care homes meet health and safety requirements. Parents and guardians can contact CCL for information about a facility’s license. They can learn about any complaints that appear on its record. We place on an “inactive” list any provider being investigated for a complaint.

We call the more than 700 providers on our list every three months to make sure our information is as up-to-date as possible.
