Finding Child Care
Children's Council is dedicated to helping parents find child care providers that suit their needs and the needs of their children. We provide referrals to families searching for a child care provider in San Francisco, as well as referrals for related resources. Our referral services are free of charge. You can get a referral in the following ways:
By Phone: Our Child Care Resource & Referral Counselors are available by phone Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and from 9 am to 7 pm on Tuesdays. Call (415) 343-3300 to speak to a live counselor, who will refer you to child care providers that best meet the needs of your family.
In Person: Visit our Resource & Referral drop-in room to receive free child care referrals, publications, and resources. Our Resource Room is located at 445 Church Street, between 16th and 17th Streets, and is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and from 9 am to 7 pm on Tuesdays.
