Families and Parents

For more than 30 years, Children's Council of San Francisco has been helping families find and pay for high-quality child care. We serve all communities of the city, providing more than 4,000 free child care referrals and child care subsidy assistance to over 4,000 low-income parents every year. Resource & Referral:
Free help for families seeking child care referrals and related resources.

Family Services:
Helping eligible families pay for child care.

Food Program:
Nutritious, high-quality meals and snacks for children in child care.

Mental Health Consultation:
Support for parents and staff working with children who exhibit emotional problems or challenging behaviors.

Child Care Inclusion Challenge Project:
Equal access to high-quality care for all children, regardless of cognitive or physical impairments.

Family and Children's Services:
Help finding high-quality care for children of families in transition or crisis.
